JANGRO LAUNCHES FREE ONLINE COMPLIANCE RESOURCE
For Cleaning Contractors who carry out activities on a number of different client sites, the challenge of keeping COSHH site records up to date can be an onerous task.
COSHH regulations require a Safety Data Sheet and Risk Assessment be kept for every cleaning chemical stored or used on every site.
Until recently this required meticulous record keeping and strict adherence to company procedures to ensure the correct documentation was added to the site pack. Not to do so could potentially lead to a fail mark in client audits, with possible legal or contractual implications.
However this could all be a thing of the past as Jangro has recently enhanced its member’s websites to include a new resource to ensure each of your client sites are up to date with the latest documentation.
‘Site Manager’ contains all the Safety Data Sheets and COSHH risk assessments that you will require. Unlike other online solutions which are manufacturer specific and will only give information relating to one manufacturer, Site Manager covers every product delivered to any given site no matter who it's made by.
Every time a new product is ordered for an individual site, the relevant compliance information will be added to the customer’s Site Manager area, which can be veiwed via a secure login.
In addition, links to the documents will appear on the order confirmation, saving the time it takes to search for and download data for each individual product.
One of the most valuable features is the option to collate a site or company specific pack in the form of a PDF document with self-branded cover sheets and a contents page, which can be used for Health & Safety inspections and insurance purposes.
All literature is updated in line with national legislative changes and customers can set up automatic email updates to send the latest documents at regular intervals.
It has been designed and built by industry experts following customer consultation and feedback. A training video, which gives clear and simple instructions on how to use Site Manager, is also available.
