A client recently came to me with a particular problem "We have a tiled floor in a washroom area; the tiles are porous and old and are taking longer and longer to clean, what can we do?"
I suggested they use Jangro Universal Floor Cleaner Restorer; please see the link to the Product Usage Guide http://goo.gl/ITiJx
Please note point 5 from the PUG, you need to lay quite a lot of the solution on the floor, we tend to use the term “Flood the Floor.” Bear in mind that contact time is really important, after a short while you should see a lot of the dirt in the floor come to the surface.
The next thing to do is apply a single coat of Jangro Porous Stone Surface Seal which is totally transparent. This will protect the floor ensuring that dirt stays on the surface.
The one thing you must do after you clean the floor is to rinse and neutralise it. You can do this with a solution of water with a little vinegar added. But if you don’t want the smell of vinegar, you can use Prochem Pro Rinse. See http://goo.gl/ImTfv
The cleaner we have recommend is highly alkaline and if you don’t neutralise it with an acidic rinse, the sealer will not take.
